    For marriage and couple's counseling     per 1 hour session :

(NOTE) Many insurance companies do not cover couple's therapy . Or  they will cover a 45 minute session.  Generally from my experience this is inadequate time for both partners to be heard and I often end up having to stop prematurely.   So I have opted to set the format for "at least" a full hour.   Sometimes a session can run 90 minutes.

  Paying by cash or credit allows us to have the flexibility to address what is important and control the time at our own discretion.   Since I am licensed by the Education Department of New York all costs are tax deductible.  I can provide a receipt upon request.

The fee for couple's or marriage  counseling is
$150.  per hour.  $200. per 90 minutes.

If you prefer to pay by credit card you can pre pay for the session using  Paypal .
Cash and Personal checks are accepted.

For a regular 45 minute individual session :
$90-120. per 50 minute session  (out-of-network or without insurance fee ) 

Costs and co-pays vary according to insurance plans.

Phone therapy is currently not covered by most insurance. Check with the specific coverage on your policy.

I also do SKYPE sessions for those who prefer not to travel or who have other limitations.

  • Do I have mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is a Co-Pay required?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?


Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a negotiated basis

Cancellation Policy

If you do not  come to your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
